What is GDPR?

If you’re in a country that is a member of the European Union (EU) and created a LyncMe page while there, you’ve probably already heard about the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In a nutshell, the regulation introduces stricter rules about how companies must handle user data, and how they gain consent for using data.

When you signed up with LyncMe, you trusted us to protect your personal data and we respect that. In fact, your privacy is so important to us that the changes we made for GDPR apply to all LyncMe users.

These are some of the changes we made based on the GDPR:

Accessing your personal data

You always have access to your data when you log into your account. If you need a copy of personal data for any reason, you can request it by emailing us at [email protected].

Updating incorrect data

We recommend that you update any incorrect information by editing your account.

*If you lost access to your account, we can help you regain access or correct your personal data for you.

Deleting your data

You can request to have some or all of your personal data erased from our systems.

Withdrawing your consent

If you gave us permission to collect your data, but decide later that you don’t want us to collect or use your data, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

For all requests based on your rights, please reach out to [email protected]. Someone from our team will get back to you within 30 days to help you out.
