Cedar is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Financial Engineering to work alongside Cedar's team of data engineers and data scientists and members... of Cedar's strategic finance and accounting teams! At a high level, the role will involve:
Product Discovery:
driving product discovery with internal teams to identify problems worth solving and validating solutions Product Development:
working with engineering, data science, and strategic finance/accounting to execute on the strategy for and launch of financial data products Collaboration:
working closely with users to measure success of products and finding opportunities for improvement Open to candidates based in NYC, San Francisco, or Salt Lake City where Cedar's offices are as well as remote candidates! Responsibilities Establish the roadmap for financial data products and applications in support of Cedar's strategic finance goals Lead execution of the roadmap with the product development team (engineering, data science) Work cross-functionally with internal partners on Strategic Finance and Accounting to put together specs and implement features Develop and share thought leadership around your domain Define measurement strategies for your team and your products' success Required Skills & Experience Effective communicator, both written and oral Experience working on data teams or on data-oriented problems Track record of delivery in constantly evolving, highly collaborative, cross functional-stakeholder environments Proficient with modern data tools such as Looker/Tableau Ability to write simple queries and understand data structures (e.g., SQL, ETLs, and databases) Comfortable solving big, ambiguous problems 3

The selected candidate will be expected to commute to the innovation center to which they are assigned as their primary GM facility
This position requires an employee to be onsite 1-3 times per week
to prioritize and operationalize intelligence to defend GM assets and drive cybersecurity strategies
Identify cyber threats, trends and new developments in cyber threat landscape by analyzing raw intelligence and data
Translate intelligence analysis into written or verbal communications to share with senior management information security experts, and both technical and non-technical users
Understand the lifecycle of cyber threats, attacks, attack vectors, and methods of exploitation; conduct trending and correlation of cyber intelligence for the purposes of attribution, threat modeling and establishing strategic countermeasures
Synthesize large quantities of complex threat information, distilling it to the most critical issues and draws accurate conclusions, before relaying the threat intelligence to appropriate stakeholders
Leverage technical skills and experience with a wide variety of open-source and/or vendor-supported intelligence and cybersecurity tools and technologies to detect and act upon external cyber threats to GM
Maintain awareness of and/or contacts in the cybersecurity industry, government, and law enforcement


The Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst must have strong technical skills with knowledge of a wide variety of tools and technologies and experience deploying and monitoring these capabilities to identify cyber threats to GM
1-2 years overall experience in cyber threat intelligence, vulnerability management, security engineering, incident response or offensive security
Conceptual and technical knowledge of modern IT environments to include server configuration/architecture, cloud, database management/configuration, networking protocols/designs and access management/access controls
Ideally have previous experience writing and using scripted tooling in support of intelligence collection
Experience in open source collection, use of online tools, experience querying internal databases of information in support of investigative efforts
Experience documenting cyber threat intelligence in a consumable manner that non-IT professionals can easily understand
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
Demonstrated executive-level verbal and written communication skills
BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field or equivalent work experience
Active Secret U.S. security clearance or ability to gain clearance
