To fuel our growth plans towards 2030, we are looking for a Regional Product Manager that can build and support our portfolio of products in the Americas.
What is the job about?
As a Regional Product Manager for our Dosing Solultions, you represent the portfolio of products in the region, and you will ensure their regional commercial success. You work with the full value chain, from being the regional voice of our customers and end-users, supporting our development team, launching new products, to continuously working with sales & service colleagues to give them the best toolbox to explain the unique value of our products to our customers.
Preferably you are based near any of our Grundfos USA locations (Brookshire, TX, Lenexa, KS, Fresno, CA and Allentown, PA) or in Oakville, ON, Canada. We are also open to remote work from any location within the USA and Canada.
Relocation for this position can be supported and qualified candidates preferably have authorization to work in the USA or Canada without support.
Your main responsibilities:
Product Management: you will make sure that our sales colleagues in the Americas have access to the right products to meet the needs of our customers. You will work with colleagues across the full value chain, from operations to service.
You constantly look for opportunities to support sales growth and to improve the business performance of your product lines in the region.
Training, Support and Knowledge Sharing: you will take accountability to set up und conduct training sessions for both external customers and internal colleagues. You actively build networks and communities to increase the awareness of our products.
Roadmap and New Product Input: You will make sure that we understand our customers’ needs and you work with R&D, operations, service and our business units to design the solutions for our customers.
Over time, we would like to expand the role to also cover our offerings in sensors and connectivity
Marketing & Launch: you will create regional launch plans for new products and work closely with marketing to promote the offerings.
Your background
A Bachelor's Degree or commensurate experience preferred and several years of experience in product management.
A typical profile for the role combines business or marketing experience with a technical background.
Experience working in the industrial or utility water sector and you understand chemical water treatment processes.
Experience with other products that assist in building solutions, like sensors and connectivity, would be a bonus for the role
You understand business processes in a manufacturing company, and you can use that to identify pain points and opportunities.
You enjoy interacting with customers and sales & service colleagues. You have shown that you can uncover their needs and translate these in input for new products or improvement projects in the value chain.
Experience working in a networked organization and can build key networks at different levels.
Confident and engaging presentation and training skills, including the preparation of material
Fluency in English is required
