Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the Lync.me website (the "Service") operated by LyncMe ("us", "we", or "our"). Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. You warrant that you are at least 18-years-old and you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts. If you are under 18-years-old, you warrant that you have obtained consent from your parent or guardian and they agree to be bound by these Terms on your behalf. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Lync.me (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.


2. About the Platform

Lync.me provides a digital platform where independent users (“Service Providers”) can list and promote their services, and others (“Clients” or “Users”) can book these services. Services may be paid for online or offline.

Digital Ventures OÜ, the owner and operator of Lync.me, is not a service provider and does not offer or manage any services listed on the platform. All services are provided directly by third-party users.


3. User Roles and Responsibilities

3.1 Service Providers

Service Providers are solely responsible for:

  • Listing accurate and lawful service information.

  • Honoring bookings and appointments.

  • Handling changes, cancellations, rescheduling, and no-shows.

  • Complying with applicable laws, taxation, and professional standards.

3.2 Clients

Clients are responsible for:

  • Understanding the nature of the services offered by third-party providers.

  • Contacting the service provider directly for any issues related to the service.

  • Making payments where required, either online (via supported processors) or offline.


4. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • Lync.me is a neutral intermediary. We do not provide, endorse, validate, or guarantee any services listed.

  • We are not liable for:

    • The quality, legality, accuracy, or safety of any user-provided service.

    • Any disputes between users, including cancellations, refunds, performance, no-shows, or dissatisfaction.

    • Any loss, damage, or injury resulting from a booked service.

  • We do not verify user qualifications or licenses unless explicitly stated.


5. Payments, Fees, and Commissions

  • Lync.me may charge platform usage fees, commissions, or processing fees for online payments.

  • All pricing, commission rates, and fee structures are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of such changes.

  • When using online payments, users agree to be bound by the terms of third-party payment processors. Lync.me does not store payment credentials.


6. Platform Modifications and Availability

  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform or services at any time, with or without notice.

  • We are not responsible for any service interruption, data loss, or system error.

  • Access to certain features may depend on your subscription plan (Free or Pro).


7. User Content and Conduct

  • Users may not post unlawful, offensive, or fraudulent content.

  • Lync.me reserves the right (but not the obligation) to remove any content that violates these terms or applicable law.

  • Users grant Lync.me a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and promote their content on the platform.


8. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows

All matters relating to cancellations, refunds, changes, and no-shows are exclusively the responsibility of the Service Provider.

Lync.me:

  • Does not set or enforce cancellation or refund policies.

  • Will not mediate disputes or offer any compensation to clients or providers.


9. Subscription Plans (Free and Pro)

  • Subscription plans offer different levels of access and features.

  • Lync.me reserves the right to modify or terminate any plan or feature at any time.

  • No refunds will be issued for partial use or dissatisfaction.


10. Account Termination

Lync.me may suspend or terminate accounts at its sole discretion for violations of these Terms or applicable laws.


11. Intellectual Property

  • All platform code, branding, and infrastructure are owned by Digital Ventures OÜ.

  • Users retain ownership of their own content but grant Lync.me permission to display and distribute it.


12. Legal Compliance

  • Users are responsible for complying with local, national, and EU regulations, including taxation, GDPR, and consumer rights laws where applicable.

  • Lync.me complies with the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) and acts solely as a hosting service provider under Article 6 of the DSA.


13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Digital Ventures OÜ, its affiliates, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or losses related to:

  • Your use of the platform;

  • Any services you provide or receive;

  • Any violation of these Terms or applicable laws.


14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Estonia and applicable EU law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Tallinn, Estonia.


15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

17. Additional User Content, Communication, and Interactions

17.1 User Media and Galleries

Service Providers may upload images, videos, or other media (collectively, “Media”) to their profiles or service listings. Lync.me does not moderate or verify this media and is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, appropriateness, or ownership of any user-uploaded content. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their media complies with all applicable laws, including copyright and privacy regulations.

17.2 External Links

Users may include external links (e.g., websites, portfolios, social media, or third-party profiles). Lync.me does not review or endorse any external content and is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or consequences of following any such links.

17.3 Reviews and Feedback

Clients who have booked a service through the platform may leave a review or rating after the service is completed.

  • All reviews are the opinions of the individual user and do not represent Lync.me’s views.

  • Lync.me does not verify or fact-check reviews.

  • We reserve the right (but not the obligation) to remove reviews that violate our content policy or applicable laws.

17.4 Communication Between Users

After a booking is confirmed, Clients and Service Providers may communicate directly. Lync.me does not facilitate or mediate such communication and is not responsible for:

  • Any conversations, agreements, or disputes between users

  • Any misuse of contact information exchanged via the platform

17.5 User Reports and Violations

If a user believes that content, media, reviews, or behavior on the platform violates these Terms or applicable laws, they may report it using available tools or by contacting support.

  • Lync.me does not guarantee action on all reports but will make a reasonable, good-faith effort to investigate and respond in accordance with our policies and legal obligations.

  • We reserve the right to take or decline action at our sole discretion, including removal of content or suspension of accounts.
